What is the best way to store you skins over the summer months? Mine have the "Wax" type paper that go in between the skins when folded so the glue doesn't stick to each other, but my question is: It is better to leave them unfolded during the summer or is it ok to fold them up and store them in a drawer? Just wondering if it would better to let them hang the whole summer so they don;t get creases in them or if that would "dry" the glue out? Thanks.

I think the general plan is to fold them in half, glue to glue, and store them someplace dry and cool. When it comes time to separate them in the fall, hang them from a hook by the tip loop, and allow the glue to release the tail very very slowly just using gravity. If this isn't working, you can add a little weight to the tail. It will release within a day.

I have been wondering the same thing. Love the trick of letting gravity do the work...Thanks Wonder if there are "skin Savers" available for snowboard skins. Skin savers look like heavy duty insect screen and made out of plastic. They probably have another name. I could not find any for board skins while searching. I have skin savers, for my kicker skins for my Tele skis They are available for full length tele skins so perhaps 2 sets per board skin may do the trick.
