 Post subject: Grivel G10 wide Vs Petzl Versak crampons

Hi

Anyone compared the grivel g10 wides to the petzl versak? I have Flow - "the one" boots and BD contacts are highly unreliable

Ive found strong recommendations for both, more so for the petzl but the G10's are cheaper

Any help appreciated

Vasak are 12 pt, superior to 10pt. G10W will likely fit your boots better, IMHO crampon fit is of greater importance, YMMV. While focused on ice climbing, the following is a really good read re: proper crampon fit.

Personally, I love Grivel steel and have both G12s and G14s.
