Adjustable Plates on a DIY Split?

Would the adjustable plates work with a DIY Split, so you could adjust binding angle? Or would you need to drill more holes because rotating them would put them out of alignment?

Planning out my first split, thanks for any help.

I have read through several pages of threads and tried a few searches... found a few people using the adjustable plates but they all had several holes drilled in their deck.
Seems like it would work, its just weird that voile does not sell a kit like that.

Its easy! holes are drilled 1and3/4 from center and 1 inch apart Measure with a standard American tape measure :thumpsup:

All the parts you need can be purchased from Voile online.
I would buy the Voile Universal Hardware kit and buy the nose/tail clips and the Chinese hooks as spare parts.

Just have a good look around the site and you will sort it out.

T nuts are easy to get and some Epoxy is the only other gear you will need

If you do not want to drill to many intrusive holes in your board by using adjustable pucks, you may consider to put first adaptaters (they can be hold with ski inserts, which are not going through the P-Tex).
With the adaptater, you are free to move the adjustable pucks around and you save holes in your baord. The downside is that you add 250 grams and 3 mm. height...

Are those plates just screwed down by the regular inserts in the board? No drilling at all?

These plates are scewed with ski screws in both the original inserts on one side (two screws) and in the some ski insert (one scew). Those helicoil inserts are scewed and glued in holes that you drill on a parrallel line to the original inserts. But you do not drill all the way throught the P-Tex to put them in the board.

Woah, that's cool. If only to fine tune a stance on a DIY split before drilling the board.
