After damaging a jacket and vest last season by stuffing my crampons into my pack, I figured it was time for a DIY.
My neighbour offers a sewing class, so, over the past 6 wednesdays I stitched up a crampon bag and tool roll. Bag is made of cordura nylon, loop on back to hang from pack, or, use in the summer as fanny-pack at the beach. Tool roll holds some essentials; multi-tool, skin wax, scraper, lighter, wire for repairs, spare pins could fold up some duct tape and slide a sewing kit etc.. Roll stashes nicely between crampons.
