 Post subject: Home Depot discontinues T-nuts. Alternate source?

So I went down to my friendly neighborhood home center, only to be disappointed that they no longer carry t-nuts. Lowes does have them but they sell them for 2x the price of Home Depot. Does anyone know of another t-nut (or tee nut) vendor that doesn't have ridiculous shipping costs for a little bag of t-nuts. Mcmaster has about every size and shape you could imaging but shipping doubles the cost.

Any suggestions? I think I'm looking for 1/4" x 20 x 5/16" or in Metric M6 x 7 or 9mm tall.

Always got mine at the local Ace Hardware. Don't remember the price though. Never found them at Home Cheapo in the past.

Excellent! Thanks Mar. I tried Ace Hardware on Saturday and all they had was 4 t-nuts in stock and they were 7/16". A little too long for my needs. I'll give these guys a call tomorrow.
