My wife is duck footed so when she is in touring mode on her Kyber her feet are forced straight forward which in turn makes her knees ache, smashes the back of her boards together and makes it hard for her to make a nice straight skin track.
At the end of last season I thought about mounting her bindings angled at 5 degrees left/right on the slider plates. This would allow her a more natural stance going up and the stance she is used to going down. I would have to adjust her pucks in the opposite direction to compensate and put her back at the normal stance while in riding mode.
Has anyone done/heard of this? Can you think of a down side?

That seams like a logical idea. I would only have one concern and that is that the bindings will not be centered over the touring brackets which could lead to some strange torques between the bindings/sliders/pucks and board.

I did that last year and experienced no problems. I probably was 3-5 degrees or so, not sure. 5 degrees is minimal. Slightly straightened out my skin track and felt more comfortable.

I find that I can angle my foot out slightly while strapping into the binding and it will hold in that position. She could try this easily before getting into angled plate mods.
