Has anyone split a K2 Zeppelin. I'm curious to know if the titanium forks stay in place once the board is cut. Thoughts?

talk to monk at down the middle splitboards.

He split a T6 for me (even brought in an engineer to help) "I'm working with an engineer to find the best way to support the hardware in the honeycomb." So far so good, it's actually outlasted my T6 solid which folded up mid season this year (burton did replace).

two though on the zepplin. 1) I've had two and I've broke two both with less than 2 years of riding. 2) the karakorum(sp) set might be a better idea than volie. Since you have concerns about the tension forks staying in place after splitting I think your better off with their new positive pressure attachment versus voile's hanging attachment.

Good luck.

Thanks for the info. Yes, I'm seriously considering buying the Karakorum setup this fall. I'll contact monk to see what the best option is (e.g. split my current board or just get a new one).

FYI what I did to captialize on sales and free shipping was bought a new board online and had them ship it directly to monk. Works particularly well when you live in AK because they always offer free shipping execpt to us. End result didn't have to pay for shipping to Monk and the shipping from him to me I would have had to pay anyway.
