this is not a pefect way ....
i call it cnc damper - it is an old trick from niedecker - snowboards.for damping - and stiffy
i mody this trick for 3 pice boards .
by a flatt plat of carbonfiber in 1, - 1,5 mm thikness . fixed with dubbel glue tape ( the best is from 3M )betwenn the sliderpuck s. you must test the outline an X geometrie - one small line ... ore some one else
look at the web for an foto of a old niedecker RACEBOARD call it EXTREM at the year 90????. this board had on the top titansteelness plates

Monk is a good man - we had no problems my answere of post is not a bad point to you or any other peopel - only my ideas to build better board s....... english is not perfect - and some of this guys dont understand my word s right ... sorry .
What about laying strips of fiberglass and epoxying them to the board? is that just crazy, or do you guys think that will work making the board stiffer?

I dont think this will work all to well. the fiberglass will not like to flex with the board and will tend to delam....
