Currently I am building my own splitboard and I thought that I would share the process with anyone and everyone who may be interested in building their own. I did a bit of searching on the web for people who have documented their splitboard builds and I didn't come up with much. I knew that there would be things that come up along the way that would be valuable to share with others that my be wanting to build a splitboard.
I already own a Voile FR 173 and it is perfect for deeper snow and longer tours, but I wanted a board for lift service backcountry, where that tours are much shorter and a shorter length was needed for better inbound performance.
Check out the build on my site and let me know what you think and if any of you are wanting to build your own, feel free to shoot me your questions.
