A friend of mine ran into this website, and showed it to me. I figured it would be great for the projects that go on around here:

voile/buton converson stuff?
make your own tip/tail, ying-yang hooks...

you can probably do it all here. they let you design the parts on thier free CAD software that you download. Personally, I have never delt with these guys and I didn't look at their pricing, but someone may find it useful.
