Nothing new, but my first split- probably will cut more after getting some snow, but brilliantly deduced that it might be harder to uncut later and than cut more if required. Started at 167cm- prob down to 162 or so now. Waterjet cut. LT pins, Blaze. Pucks from Chair 2 in WA (web order) also cut on the waterjet (cheated by screwing them onto the board- no extra charge). Put tail clip on for now- counter sunk with screws instead of rivets. Might sink another screw through the end of each puck, but feels pretty rigid right now and trying to avoid T-Nuts where possible. Sweet graphic on the Avanlanche board found at a Play-It-Again- brand new and cheap. A little superstitious about splitting an Avalanche board, especially one with an evil looking pentagram on the base. If I get buried, you know why.

i'd put a ski screw on the outer edge of those pucks, lots of leverage on those inserts. Talked to a guy last week that had diy pucks like that and pulled out the factory inserts.

Let us know how those pucks work out for you. They are designed to be used on solid boards so you can swap your Sparks over from splitty to solid, we're not sure how they are going to work cut and mounted that way. It seems like they will rip out without a third screw on the outside but we'd be interested to hear how it turns out.
