I just want to say thanks to everyone contributing info in this section, I gained a lot of useful tips from this site and my first split attempt is complete, I couldn't be happier with the outcome!!

The board fits so tight with this set up, the flex is as stiff, possibly a little stiffer when in ride mode.
Torisionally, the board doesn't seperate at all when i'm strapped in just standing on carpet flexing it.
Highly reccomend the karakoram set up!

Personal favorite tips:
Using the forstner bit to countersink tee nut holes
For banana rocker, advance the tour bindings 1.5" from balance point to assist tips lifting in powder
