CHeck out the Chimera thread on the main page, they're doing only a short section of the inside edge in metal, looks like it might be easier then the whole edge.

I happened to come across your postings and was stoked!
I am a Alaskan as well from Juneau, here in NZ for a year on working holiday status.
I live in Dunedin and am looking for split partners for the winter. Its not really snowy yet, but I am in the process of making another split now. I am working my ass off right now so I can have plenty of time this winter to explore.
Let me know if you guys are interested in meeting up for some backcountry exploration.
