On my Burton pack it has little plastic loops for poles on each side. I just bought a BD pack and was wondering if anyone had tried making a modification by putting straps like on the Burton on another pack? If so where did you purchase the plastic clips? I called Burton and they would not sell me two. I searched and just saw a thread from a year ago where a guy emailed BD on attaching poles to the pack. I was liking my idea more though. Any thoughts on how I could do this either?

You can get clips, rope, or nylon webbing at REI, and with those things you could easily fab whatever you wish. Just grab a needle and thread, sew in the new parts and finish off, by placing some adhesive gore-tex patches over the thread seem on the inside of the bag. That way it will stay water tight like a dolphins ass.
