Hey all, I was wondering if anyone knew Killington's skinning protocol? Its on state land, and here at Smuggs ski patrol just doesn't want two way traffic so you can go outside lift operating hours.
I called and wasn't able to talk to ski patrol, the gentleman whom I did talk to told me no, outright. "liability reasons"?!?!
Let me know what you think.

I've never skinned Killy, but have straight walked up the trail with my board in hand, and had nothing but good vibes from ski patrol. Maybe it was the individual(s), but they were just stoked to see me going after it.
The mt. Bike trail network is a great switchback network in the woods and out of the way
Cannon had all the snow, though and almost no one hiking (and certainly no lifts dropping people off...)
