Hi,

I'm new the forum and while there is a wealth of information using the search I cannot seem to ascertain a straight answer. I am in the process if DIY'n my '07 Burton Malolo. I was wanting to use my Burton Cartel bindings but the Voile splitkit seems to come with "rails" that require a specific binding. Is there another kit I must purchase that will allow me to use my Cartel's?

The DIY kit comes with the slider tracks (maybe what you mean by rails) that you can mount any binding too, your Cartels will work fine. You will need to have the 4 hole plates or universal plates, not the burton 3 hole plate.

You should be able to use your cartels with the slider plates that come with your kit.

That said, to get the most out of your split, get splitboard specific bindings, spark blaze, voile light rails, or the karakorams.
