Looking forward to field testing results on this one. Looks like a great design, now someone needs to get it out and beat it up through 300 transitions to prove its worthiness... I love the simple elegant design.

Someone on here must have been involved in whatever initial field testing the beta versions went through, anyone care to pipe up with their direct experience?

I too like the elegance of the Plum system. Extremely fast transitions too.

As I see it, the issues are:

1. New next season - will it prove durable? (A question facing Prime, Magneto and Ranger too.)

2. It needs a higher heel lift option.

3. Seam-overlapping saddles would improve the ride--but its self-tensioning binding clamp may mitigate that.

If these issues resolve then I think it's a very attractive system.

They didn't ask me! But somebody is trying to organize a preproduction model for me to try out this season. If that works out (it probably wont) I'll let you guys know for sure.

@Plum: If you're reading this, don't make me beg.
