Nic, if you decide to head out hit me up. We try to make it every year, it's a blast!

I pledged last time and got the pucks. Great Move. I had a set of Franken Binders, mostly plastic and upgraded to some Ride/Sparks mutation. When i finally had to turn in the split for the season this year i went to Wildcat NH, and tore up some fresh corn groomers on my Lib Skunk Ape. I pressed some of my turns so hard that i tripped on my toe side and went ass over tea kettle but i never felt an instance of weakness in my binders connection.

These guys are super nice and its a sweet idea, split binders are made to be so tough that i rather use them than regs on my solid. And since i'll never spend money on a solid again, and I'm sure many of you hate the resorts as much as i do and try to avoid at all costs this is a great way to have your solid ready at a moments notice but not all bulky in your sky box or trunk.

I got mine the other day. Feels very solid.

Thought it was funny that the accompanying sheet of paper said it's only for backcountry use - I am sure most people intend to use on solid boards for resort / slackcountry...

Now I can ride my solid (resort) board with soft or hard boots, if I want to :D

Cheers
Ivo

probably says its for "backcountry" use because if mountains realized we had pins holding our bindings on, they'd probably make us drill a hole through the board to put a leash on it.

well, at least here on the east coast...

anyone else get a set of these? I've got a trip coming up with both split and solid use and I've been thinking of picking these up to lighten my travel load.

I ordered a set about a month ago and just got a chance to use them with the new sparks base plates for my burners and they worked great. I mounted the plates on my custom x with the ics channel. I hit just about everything on the mountain but jumps and rails. Overall I am extremely pleased with them after the first outing. dfox I got them for the same reason you are thinking about. I go out west every year with a solid and a split and weight/room is an issue. I would have no trouble recommending these to anyone.

Used mine for the first time a couple weeks ago in Italy with some of Rughty's binders.
Couldn't fault them. Worked perfectly.

I sent them an email asking if they will be doing a canted version but have had no response. Anyone in the know on that?

edit: heard back today. Sounds like something is in the works for canting :)
