Hello ,please someone tell me if mr chomps crampons work with voile touring rise.I have lt pin system and burner bindings.I have mounted touring riser and the crampon doesn't fit in the hell area(stay suspended and forces the front part of crampon beneath the pin). Thanks

yes this should all work fine, the touring riser / wires normally fold down over the back end of Mr Chomps and hold them down flat, they do not sit underneath the Mr Chomps or they will hold them up a bit and cause probs with the bindings not coming down nicely , I think this is what you are experiencing? If not maybe a picture and I will help further, cheers Rich

H, OK I think I see this is what I thought it was, pretty simple, when not using the climbing wires fold them down over the top of the Mr Chomps, not underneath the Mr Chomps, then it should sit down nicely, with or without the touring riser you should do the same ok. Try it and you'll find everything sits down pretty nicely with no nasty forces or pressures..... cheers, Rich

1st gen Chomps don't work with the Voile dual climbing wire, unless you feel like getting handy with power tools. 2nd gen Chomps do from what I understand.

I have the 12/13 Mr Chomps on a Voile Mojo Rx w/ Spark R&D Blaze LT bindings and i have the exact same issue as Horatiu demonstrated in his pics (The only difference is that I'm not using the touring riser blocks that Horatiu has). I've played around with several scenarios including removing the risers from the Mr Chomps to rotating my single Voile climbing wires towards the back of the board. Each way has a pro and con. Spark R&D talks about the crampon being designed to "float" until you plant your heel.
I've been thinking about putting the Voile touring risers block under the LT bracket and not the heel... Would that level out the binding while the Mr Chomp is resting on the climbing wire?
