I'm not sure I'm all that into these new Blazes. If you look at the baseplate, there's a bunch of material taken out to make them lighter (it looks like holes) but these really collect snow. I went out today in about 30 degree weather and snow just collected and froze into place. Another splitter who was up with me had the same bindings and we had to take time to poke out the snow with our pins. Keep this in mind if you're looking for a new pair. Really, though, other than that, they're great.
