[quote="Powder_Rider"]For me I am interested in the weight more because I have the Sidewinders. I got to come up with a good up sale to my wife to justify new bindings for the both of us.[/quot
Pow-D: The Sidewinders have articulation, the Phantom will have you much lower to the board, offer lighter weight, and offer a more responsive ride and more precise board feel. Phantoms are lighter than the fixed Bomber Bindings, so I am sure they must be lighter than the articulated Sidewinders. Additionally, I feel Phantoms have a big advantage in stance adjustability, as stance width adjusts separately (and in small increments) from angle. You set you preferred width and setback, lock it in, and then adjust to whatever angle you want, without changing the width/setback. This is a huge advance over the Voile pucks, where every change in angle also changes the longitudinal position of the binding on the board. But, if you feel that you need articulation, then the Bomber Sidewinder is your only choice… I am sensitive to boot to board distance myself...
