This may or may not be helpful to you but I used my Voile dual height climbing wire set-up with my Karakoram bindings--and had no issues at all. I was an early adopter and purchased one of the early Karakoram bindings. That system came with "soft" climbing wires that quickly bent during usage. I replaced the Karakoram heel system with my dual height Voile climbing wire set-up while waiting for my replacement Karakoram climbing wires ---and I never went back. Just an fyi, Karakoram took care of me quickly---those guys have great customer service.

These worked pretty good for about 4000 vertical feet the other day. Much better than the OG Voile single-wire risers I started the day with.
Future iterations will likely need to add a notch in the piece of stick so the strap doesn't slide off the sides. Some ideas were also tossed around about trying to find an oblong-shaped branch that could be rotated for some dual-height action. Patent-pending.

I am doing the same thing. I went 3000 vert feet with my raisers not locking. And when i purchased my SL karakorams they only came with one size of rasier wire short and they dont lock! .. Thus having to spend more money.. I like karakoram their support is great.. But I feel i paid way too much and need to spend more money! ugh.. good luck!
