It's finally there - the Burner Seems like the solution for us that found the highback from the Blaze a little too soft. But - has anyone tried the Burner yet? Spark says on their blog that it is a "down in one line" binding, but is it really that stiff so it is not comfy for allmountain riding?
Riding with Burton Ruler boots (prefer a semi soft boot like that) and a quite firm binding (Burton Mission) I hope that Burner is the solution for me with my upcoming Prior Khyber split. Spark mentions in their prensentation of the 2012 Blaze that there should be some added glasfiber in the highback, which is maybe also the solution then, since I don't describe myself as a Clydesdale rider. I love riding tight trees in high speed and like a semi stiff binding.
Anyone who have already tried the new beauties?
Above all it's great news that the new straps on both models are made in cooperation with Burton
Thanks 96avs01 However the thread doesn't mention anything about the Blaze highback was upgraded from last year or not. Spark's blog does mention that the amount of glassfiber was increased, but is that for real and in case how much? Hmm - guess I'll try to mail Spark directly. I'll post you when answered
Just wondering why nobody is responding to the great news from Spark (Burton cooperation etc.) Summertime or just more focused on the Karakorams?
