Anyone have experience with the DC Status?
was recommended by a stranger but i cannot find many hints as to weather it is stiff on the level of the malamute.

It's super comfy, but not even close to as stiff as the Malamute. It's more of a park boot than freeride.

really? i thought it was about as stiff as the driver-x.
did you ride much in it?

never mind spent some time in it and it definitely feels like a stiff park boot.

I haven't ridden in it but wore it around the shop for a couple hours. It seemed stiffer than DC's other boots, but dramatically softer than Malamutes. Could be okay though, for me the Malamute isn't versatile enough... It's too stiff for any kind of inbounds park stuff.
