Thread update: I am now convinced by riding my old, highly modified, Raichle SB 121s that I can make a hard boot set up work. Now I am trying to find the right boots to save weight and get Dynafit toe piece compatability. My first choice is the Zzero 3 PX-TF, but I cannot find a pair (28) anywhere in the US. I will keep looking, but in the meantime I want to get any info from anyone who may have feedback on the Garmont Megalite (yes I have searched and read any available threads) which is available now. The Megalite is about 60 gms. heavier than the Zzero 3, but most available info claims the Megalite will be even softer than the Zzero 3. anyone out there using the Megalite care to comment on performance? If anyone can point me to a dealer that might have the Zzero 3 PX-TF in stock would be appreciated as well.

Follow-up. I picked up a pair of the Dynafit Zzero 3-Cs after confirming with the NA Dynafit distributor that they are no longer bringing the PX version into the US. The Zzero 3 is a really nice boot, super light, with a compact shell, and a very low profile. I am looking forward to the weight savings, and using the Dynafit toe piece for touring mode.

Hi. Old message, but I'm riding Garmont Megalite since last year. Still not sure I like them, they are stiff compared to the previous Scarpa F1. Have tried to loosen the upper part, but then i get some heel lift. Until now i like them on hard stuff, but not on soft. Think I will reinvest in F1, since both boots are good for my skiing. F1 are extremely comfortable.
