Looking into buying some Scarpa Lasers which are pretty much brand new for about $175. They fit just so that my toe barely touches the front of the boot. That being said I have a couple questions. Is this a good fit or will it cause problems when skinning or descending? Any impressions on the boot design? Any info. would be appreciated.

Yeah, with the liners, it doesn't have the new heat moldable liners, but they have only had two rides in them. I am new to hard boots so I don't know what's that great for me. I have been warned that getting them that small will cause problems on the ascent, but my brother who backcountry skis likes his boots tighter and has no problems. Doesn't seem that it would be much different. I am not sure on the effects of a smaller boot on the descent with a snowboard.
