Thinking about changing over my leather-boot/ strap binding system over to a plate binding and AT boot.
Just tried on the Garmont Mega and it felt sweet. Anybody use this boot in the Viole SD Mountain Plate... whats your thoughs on the set-up, good or bad. Any input would be appreciated.

Hi.
I just started running a pair of Dynafit TLT 4 Lites and Bomber splitboard plates.
I like the set up. i put some Dynafit toe pieces on the split, which makes tour-mode a lot lighter and effecient.
I'm running the boots all buckled up (not loose) but in 'walk' mode so there is a bit more flex forward. Angles are set 15 back and 25 front, with a stance of 21 inches (I'm 6 foot tall) a little steeper than my park board set up. I'm not running any cants and wedges with the bindings.
Its my first hard-boot set up, and so far, it feels similar to my park board set up, just a little less comfortable in ride mode.
