Hey all,

wondering if anybody has or knows of someone who has a pair of clapped out TLT5s ?

looking to do some experimenting with them. so if they are broken buckles, pivot points, pretty much as long as they still have a sole I'd be interested.
If the price is fair lets work a deal.

I figure to make them the way I need I will probably have to do some surgery to them anyways so why start with a 500$ pair.

Just an FYI eric, the 27.5 and 28 are different shells. You should make sure you get the shell you want first, and go from there. So either a 27 or a 28. I thought I was a 27.5, but got a 27, and seems to fit fine when I'm vacuuming the rug. I'm a size 9-9.5 in US for comparison.

Good luck.

Same shells go like this - 26 & 26.5; 27 & 27.5; 28 & 28.5; etc
If I remember correctly the liners thermo mouldable liners (European) are the same as well, just different factory moulding.

 Wow is right. They really don't feel much different then snowboard boards. I'll be mounting mine to my solid for some resort laps tomorrow. I'm interested to see how they ride on something besides my carpet.

Eric--I trawled Craiglist and Ebay everyday for two months with cash in hand and scored a brand new pair from the Dynafit NA headquarters in Boulder for $275. Emailed the guy 5 minutes after he posted the ad.

I did a half day at Loveland yesterday with the Phantoms on a solid and they

The lightest weight boots and binding combo ever. Only mods I did was switched out the liners with Intuition liners from my old Scarpas and removed the insole in the liners for more room.

Just pull the trigger, if you dont like them put them back on CL.

Remember you want the Mountain version, not Performance. Performance has a stiffer cuff, which is not good for splitboarding to my understanding.

I also lucked out with a brand new pair for $400 from a local shop.

HA! I saw all those adds a month ago and because they are the carbon performance they are still for sale... the mountains GO FAST.. I had some leads before I was sure on size but those have since been sold. I've even pondered the idea of riding the ladies version since these boots are so hard to find. But those are almost harder to find in the correct size.. Dynafit says same basic boot- softer liner..

already spent many hours searching online, just hoping some kids get the 6s soon and retire there 5s...

good looking out everyone and thanks! Ima lay down some stylish airs for yall. when this setup is mine.. :headbang:

I couldn't get back to sleep after my baby woke me up so what better way to burn some time then to read SB.com and help a fella find some boots.

hey guys thanks for all the help, after 3 days of strait touring with lots of tour time thinking about comfort and touring efficiency. I just can't look at my soft boot setup the same. I am ready to make the switch and pretty confident that it will work for me.

I am looking for a 27 tlt5, since the shell is for both 27-27.5 this is my size.

anybody have any? this will help pay for your new tlt6s!!!

I just got my TLT5's from the MEC gear swap page linked to their website. There were a few more pairs in the $250-$300 range in new condition. Mondo 26 and 27. Check it out!
