So after much reading here and elsewhere I've decided to make the hardboot transition, but am struggling to find a suitable AT boot in a size that suits my gargantuan feet (US15). I think I need around a Mondo 32 - 33 depending on the fit, but pretty much all the boots I've seen only run to around the 31.5 (i.e. TLT5's)
Has anyone else out there been able to find a good hardboot solution for large feet?
Its always a problem even for soft boots (currently on a trashed pair of Burton Rulers), but it does mean I ride them till they die!
Talk to a good local bootfitter to see if they can push the shell out far enough to accomodate your foot size. I've heard that they can get around a full size out of punching out the toes.

Scarpa lists the Rush in size up to 31 mondo. The Scarpa sizing generally runs large, and the boots feature pretty high volume as well. I suspect this may be a good place to start, but, as mentioned, you may need some extra help from a good bootfitter to get enough length. I suspect the Rush could mod up into a pretty sweet riding boot.
thanks for the tip. Looking at the Scarpa site and it seems they have a few options in the larger sizes so they are going to be my best bet it seems. They have the Maestrele in up to a 32 but the word seems to be that they are a little on the stiff side.
Now time to find out where they have stashed all their large models of the Rush!
