New 2011/12 Burton Driver X

Just wanted to send out a quick shout about the new Burton Drivers X. I just tried on a new pair of These boots and needed a half size larger than my old Burton boots. I talked with my buddy at the snowboard shop and he said that with the new liners and smaller "foot print" they are a bit smaller than before. Just wanted to warn anyone ordering new boots! I pulled the trigger today on the Driver X's after long hours reading new threds on the Deeluxe Sparks. Peace out! :rock:

Now I'm not so sure. I heat molded them and wore them around for a while and they seem a little big now! Will tour and ride them soon and will post a review too clarify my sizing issue with burton's new boots. :scratch:

for what its worth mine feel a little bigger this year...

I just moved from 9.5 '11 SLX to 9 '12 SLX (half a size down from '11 to '12).

Significantly better fit for me.

Moral of the story- don't buy boots without trying them on!!

yep, so I have worn my new burton drivers 4 times and at this point they are to big! Dang! Gotta figure out something to do now. You'll probably see them on gear swap soon. size 11!

I went from a size 11 09/10 Ion to a size 10.5 11/12 Driver X and feel like they fit about the same.
