Anybody out there ever have a boot fitter trim down their liner to allow their calf muscles to fit more comfortably. My boot shell goes up about an inch above my highbacks and the liner sticks up another inch. My calves are huge, and losing weight will not fix them.

so for the rest of you big muscly calved men, take them to a boot fitter and have them cut down, to a better fit. apparently a common mod for skiers with the same problem.
