Anyone have experience with this boot? Specifically the EVO model?

I posted on this a few days ago but it seems to have vanished.
the evo comes with a solid tongue and s stiffer than the regular strucktura which has a two piece hinged tongue.
the two piece tongue is generally more snowboarder friendly.
I have a few friends that ride with the stucktura and like it.
consider a pair of the structura lights they have thermo liners and come with both style tongues.
sierra trading post has regular structuras with a gtx liner for $250
replace the liner with a thermo and they should treat you well

I'm looking at a used pair that are very reasonably priced at $125. Having said that, I was more interested in just having them for dabbling in the darkside and not so much making the full on switch.

Does that change your recommendation at all?

Can the tongue be swapped out for the 2 section?

the two tongues are interchangeable. grab those boots, thermo them, and see if you can get a pair of 2 piece tongues from lowa. I'll see if I can find a pair of soft tongues for those boots for you.
