I just finished modding my 2016 TLT6’s, but they didn’t come with the SOFT green tongue, only the stiff black one. I’m hoping one of you has a set in a 29.0 that they aren’t using. I’d like to try it out to create a more progressive toeside flex.

That or try out the booster strap situation like recommended in the TLT6 Mod Thread. So if anyone has an intermediate booster strap I could be interested in that also.

    Thanks!

BUMP! Still looking! Anyone have a set they took out and left laying in the garage?

    Just bumping this.

You ever find a pair? I’d be interested in trying those green tongues as well.

@dishwasher-dave, I got a pair from @lictor4 and couldn’t be happier. They work great to provide a slightly stiffer progressive flex that makes them feel a lot more like my stiff soft boots (K2 Thraxis) in strap bindings (Union T Rice).

Good to hear. If anybody stumbles upon this thread and has an extra pair of green tongues, I’d be happy to pay shipping to Tahoe plus a little for your trouble.

Curious, what mods did you do? The typical forward lean slot? Material removal on the cuff for medial flex?

@whitepine, I filed out the forward lean slot, removed the power straps and added the green tongues. Have not cut anything out of the cuff for medial or lateral flex, but considering cutting off the rear spoiler to bring the height in line with my soft boot setup.
