The page is getting pretty long so I think I will try to organize it into categories that link to other pages on the site. Kinda like a pages within a page. Kapeesh? November 1, 2008 at 5:22 pm #607235 bcrider 4149 Posts Does anyone know how to embed various web cams into a single page with thumbnails that link to to webcam when clicked on? I can embed other objects when the code is provided but these webcam pages just have urls. November 1, 2008 at 10:51 pm #607236 bigdood 457 Posts If this is what you’re talking about (http://relocate2seattle.com/) just click “view source” and should be able to pull code from it. Basically right click to pull whatever thumbnail they use (odds are it’s something they update every X minutes so it’ll always be relatively live) and treat that as a standard img (img src=”URL here”), and link straight to the webcam page. The model is run on a 1km grid, updated at 5am and 1pm daily. in the FAQ, there are lots of warnings and disclaimers. it will be interesting to see how accurate these forecasts are in the mountains, but as a planning tool, it certainly provides some insight into regional and temporal trends. this version will be available until March 31, and they are asking for feedback for future versions.
