It looks like Voile is feeling the pressure from Spark, Prowder, and Karakoram and it’s inspiring some decent development work.

What problem does this solve? There shouldn’t there be no play in the hooks to begin with; or is this a wear and tear issue I have yet to experience?

After a while the hooks begin to become loose and they don’t keep the board nice and tight.
This will save you having to replace the hooks.

I got a used Prior Khyber that had some play in the hooks. I just put the hooks on an anvil and gave the inside a few taps with a hammer smooshing the aluminum just a bit and now they are nice and tight.
