So this is a line that I have been wanting to do for years. It’s hard to get a good view of the whole thing from A-basin and with most of the traffic heading into Shit for Brains, Dogleg, and others this one rarely gets skied. I have only seen tracks coming out a few times but I know a few people who have done it and gave us some info. Really, I can’t believe that it took me this long to haul my ass up there.

Some scenery to look at on the way up. We watched a skier and snowboarder descend this as we were reaching the top of our line.

    Looking down our line:

Jones product shot: If you notice, my bindings are on backwards, this means I rode the whole thing switch to the road. Wish this shot had turned out better but the settings on my camera were kinda f-ed in the a.

A look at how narrow the couloir is, Narrow and Nasty but the snow was good.

Exiting the narrows and opening up into fairly wider terrain. From this point on it was clear sailing through a nice chute with great snow.

My partner schralping it out on the apron:

Like I said, I’ve been staring at this line for a long time and I’m really glad to finally cross it off the list. Super psyched to have skied it in such great conditions too. It’s pretty well protected from sun and wind, especially in the upper part so while it had a few weird wind features, the snow was great.

Nasty indeed. Nice line gentlemen. I ripped this in January. I think this is a much better line than Shit for Brains. You guys nailed it!!

Yeah, I was thinking about it and I think this was what I expected SFB to be like the first time I rode it. IMHO, this line was waaaay betterer than SFB. The cool thing about it is that the snow in the upper is so well protected that it doesn’t get all wind/sun affected.

Sick line! Looks like you got it in great conditions too. I am lookin forward to getting up in that zone
this spring. The snowpack seems to be shaping up pretty nicely!

White room stoke. Always a little weird getting whited out in the middle of a narrow couloir
