I was looking for crampons to go with my new TLT-6 boots and found quite neat looking tech crampons

There´s a review on wildsnow also

Anybody tried out these already? I was initially looking at Camp XLC Nanotechs, but I think the Techpons might just be enough and pack supersmall.

It seems like a good idea . . . but the jury is still out. They’ve only been around for a season.
Personally, I’m not sure the gains in packability and weight are worth loosing French crampon technique, traversing and descending facing downhill with the tried-and-true design.
Seems more like a SkiMo/WeightWeenie thing. YMMV.

I love gear and looked at these with desire but I can’t justify them over my aluminum 12 point CAMPs for minor weight savings. The biggest benefit is the pack volume saved but as said, they’re only good for front pointing.
