We are looking to add another guide to our staff.

    The ideal guide candidate has:

Experience leading backcountry snowboard (or ski) and snowshoe trips
Familiarity with the terrain in Lassen National park, primarily around the Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center
      AIARE 2 training
      Valid Wilderness First Responder Certification
Completion of AMGA Backcountry Ski Guide course preferred
A charming personality and cheery disposition

    AIARE instructor/ course leader:
Current AIARE 1 and 2 instructors, and/or course leaders are encouraged to apply.

We have a course leader on staff, and are looking to add instructors or a second course leader.

Guiding opportunities exist almost every weekend, throughout the snow season.
Avalanche instructor opportunities exist periodically throughout the season.

sounds like a great opportunity Richard.

I don’t have level 2 or WFR though, but I do know my way around the park. Lots of secrets and stashes out there. 🙂

Let me know if you ever need someone that doesn’t have Level 2 or WFR.

@powderjunkie Yo D, you been sliding around the park lately? Wondering on how the lower elevation is hanging on…
