I assume if you can fit dynafit then you could fit with Kbindings (using a std 3 hole pattern)? September 13, 2011 at 10:38 pm #642396 ehcarley 411 Posts I need new boots this year too. I wish there was more than a short paragraph of info on there though. Added lateral stability for skinning and skiing out. Pretty excited about the tail clips too. The Verts option is awesome but I feel that I like the regular binding option for what I use them for. Mainly because I can take a split or a solid board. If you haven’t tried the Verts though, you are definitely missing out. Those things are the shit, and they can fit inside my pack. Great for stuff the is too steep for a splitboard. Nice work on the new innovations this year! Props again to Will and everyone at Sparks. Pretty much, just like attaching to your board for ride mode. Your heel is fixed, which is a good thing. Verts are for steep terrain that you cannot split up. They rock. Give them a call if you’re a small. As far as retailers old inventory, I find it much better to negoitate in person at the shop September 15, 2011 at 6:38 pm #642401 tiltedworld 406 Posts @shredgnar wrote: The third strap option is awesome. But at $20 the strappy strap is a bit overpriced just to have a graphic on it. You can create more than a couple for the same price with some velcro/nylon and a minute on a sewing machine. I think I’ll make my own. I will definitely be getting some tail clips – also will make a great Xmas gift for my brother. Verts are awesome for stomping up the steeps in deep snow. I have always used a BD or Voile ski strap, cost about $5. 165 Venture Divide/Spark Frankenburners/La Sportiva Spantiks 163W Jones Solution/Phantom Alphas/Dynafit TLT5s 162 Furberg Chris September 16, 2011 at 7:20 am #642403 samh 726 Posts @deathrowplankwalker wrote: It would be really sweet if spark (or anyone else) sold the older blazes for a discounted prices *cough* now that they have the new and improved ones for sale That inventory is probably long since gone from the warehouse, but you might be able to find some by calling some shops. -- samh.net September 16, 2011 at 1:00 pm #642404 shredgnar 643 Posts @96avs01 wrote: @tiltedworld wrote: @shredgnar wrote: The third strap option is awesome. Booster straps are almost $30 for about the same thing. Sure, I could probably go to the hardware store and make one myself for a few bucks less, but is it worth the time? Try the Backcountry in Truckee. I see them putting inventory on eBay all the time, but every time I go in there (1-2x/yr) they are willing to deal to move product. Agreed they do stretch a bit, but I feel it’s pretty minimal if you get them tight enough initially. Another option I have used is a simple velcro strap from REI, cost is even cheaper and no worries about stretch.
