Haven’t had my Fuses long, they just don’t seem as cool now. Dang. I know what you mean. But I still love em. August 25, 2010 at 10:15 pm #629012 Kyle Miller 510 Posts Awesome! It sounds like a lot of the (very small) bugs from the Fuse have been fixed (esp., straps, highbacks, shaving weight..) MUCH STOKE, Will, for making an awesome product EVEN BETTER! I cracked up at this series of Q&A: Q: So, when will the Blaze be available? A: Mid-October 2010. Q: Does this mean that I am guaranteed a set of bindings on October 15? A: No. We will be manufacturing bindings through December, so they will of course not all be available at once. We anticipate people being antsy to get the new Blaze the moment they are available, which will inevitably create initial binding shortages. Please be a little patient, expect the traffic jam, and we promise, everyone will be able to get the bindings they need – just not all at once! Q: But I am going on a trip October 15…I MUST have them! A: Your best bet would be to contact a local dealer. They all know when their shipments are scheduled to arrive, and some are willing to take pre-payment in order to save a set for you. Unfortunately, I’d be willing to bet that this won’t be the last time Will addresses this issue…heh. Once again, very exciting news! Last season, I was amazed by the touring efficiency of the Fuse on the up, their weight, and of course that oh so surfy feel I have been missing for well over five years. Glad to be getting my hands on the Blaze this year for many days of nirvana! August 27, 2010 at 1:46 pm #629014 Tap 126 Posts no kidding. I’m making the move this year. August 27, 2010 at 3:38 pm #629015 samh 726 Posts A good sign of progress to see Spark moving to sourcing their bindings 100% from the ground up without having to rely on Mervin binder parts (although those were of super quality). Also amazing to see the new Blaze binders will save a 1/2 pound (!!!) of weight over the Fuse. Will and company have chosen an excellent name for the product also. The Blaze is a year-round patch of snow in the Spanish Peaks near Bozeman that allows us to get our stoke on in any month. http://www.thisisbozeman.com/detail/skiing-the-blaze-001/ -- samh.net August 27, 2010 at 11:32 pm #629016 treepilot 352 Posts ^^^ Interesting. I was just making an educated guess. -- samh.net Viewing 10 posts - 1 through 10 (of 10 total) You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
