Got a chance to thumb through the store copy at Mammoth Mountaineering over the weekend and was very impressed. Awesome photos, topos, route despriptions, etc. Can’t wait to get my copy. No doubt that the format raises the bar for all guide books.

    Thanks eco.

For everyone who ordered one, I learned yesterday that the books should be arriving at the publisher tomorrow (the 6th), so hopefully they’ll be distributing them this week.

Sorry about the delay, but there isn’t much snow around here anyway.

Stoked, I’ll be checking the mailbox with anticipation.

All the more reason to have a good book to read! 😉

Are the pre-ordered books going to be signed? Not a big deal but would be cool. If not, I’ll catch up with you on the eastside sooner or later.

Thanks for the update Dan. Can’t wait to receive the book to check it out first hand….

And yah, a little more snow would be nice, but there is still plenty out there to have some fun with.

Do you know what stores will be carrying the book? REI, Borders, Barnes & Noble ??

I’m pretty sure it will be at REI’s in California, and bunch of ski shops as well.
Don’t know about other book stores just yet.

I just received my copies. Awesome indeed, really really like all the color photos!

Did you give a copy to Sue? She’s probably upset you showed people how to get to all these places! :thatrocks: :thatrocks: :thatrocks: LOL

Congratulations Dan, for putting together such a comprehensive, not to mention drool-inspiring, guidebook. And to the other sb.com members “immortalized” therein, good on ya!

    Another stoked customer :thatrocks:

There does appear to be an editorial oversight in the Tioga Pass region though. I didn’t see any photos of JimW. 😀

Nice work guys. Very cool book and looking forward to checking a few off at the Cali Splitfest.

On the map, Bridgeport is shown just for reference and it’s labeled as not included. We hope to include it in another edition in the future, but that’s a few years away.
