Forums Splitboard Swap Snowpulse Guide 30 with Canister, Local Sale Only, $500 Viewing 1 post (of 1 total) Author Posts November 20, 2014 at 4:07 am #580350 JimmyC 351 Posts The pack is a size Large, Snowpulse Guide 30 Pack/AirBag, Mammut/Snowpulse 2.0 canister ( includes refill discs). I purchased the pack in late 2013 and I have used the pack for only about 10 day tours or so it is in excellent shape. The canister is also charged and ready to go. I live in South Lake Tahoe and would prefer a sale in the Tahoe area or in the SF Bay Area (I have a house in the Berkeley area and will be spending TDay down there). This style of pack uses Mammut’s PAS system—which has a portion of the airbag in the shoulder straps. The advantages of the PAS system is that it allows the airbag to envelope the head when deployed (which is why I bought the bag). Ii is not the lightest pack out there but it is really comfortable, well designed, and well built. Why am I thinking about selling the pack? I guess the answer is air travel—dealing with the canister can be potentially complicated and I would like to travel with an airbag once or twice a year. The proceeds from this bas could take a dent out of a BD air bag purchase. However, since I really like this bag, and have very mixed feelings about selling it, I am not that motivated of a seller. The $500 price tag is firm. PM me for photos.
