Flagstaff, AZ is also very white. The snotel went up to 17″ today.

Edit: The snotel topped out at 24″ this morning, storm moving out.

You SoCal guys really should consider coming this way if El Nino shows up. 6 hours from San Diego.

Keep us posted on flagstaff! I’d love to get out there this year. I think it will be a good one.

Flag is getting the direct hit. Just like the olden days. 🙂 Great to see — and I suspect it’ll be a familiar story this winter. We’re not doing too bad here in CO either with the once-squeezed downstream dregs…

It was better than I expected on Tuesday, and I would have to say it was probably the best quality snow I rode in Tahoe all last year. The bottom few hundred feet of vert were down right dangerous. I have my fingers crossed that this weekends storm and the following one will get us a good base.

It looks like Mammoth scored from that first storm set! @tex get out there!

Buffy was right. Never question Buffy, just go with her and try to keep up.

@sanfrantastico you guys scored a nice sheet there. Where did you guys end up riding in the Carson Range?

@cbalke We found a lot bones and a few nicely wind filled lines in the vicinity of Elephant’s Back.

My impression of the riding was very powdery with just a few rocks, it was really pretty epic in comparison to what was out there before this week’s storm or a lot of the days last season. I was highly stoked on it, maybe I’m easily stoked tho.

Splitboarding is the answer unless Splitbooting is the answer, either way we're going snowboarding because America!

I have to agree with Buffy, It was definietly better on Friday than it was the previous week. Things should be looking even better after todays storm wraps up. Let’s keep it coming though.
