‘Tis I again, hardboot Gumby seeking more advice.

I’m curious what people’s thoughts are when it comes to comparing the dead bird procline and the dynadit tlt style boots.

I currently on the proclines and like them for their weight, walk mode and climbing abilities. However, I am in need of a new boot because of some boot issues. How do they compare to the dynafit when it comes to climbing abilities, down hill and up hill performance?

I was in Salomon X-alp, I guess they are close enough to the proclines, and am in speedfits now.
I must say I like speedfits more, and they seem more durable too. I got a ton of slop in the cuff pivot on x-alp, on proclines I have the phantom boot mod and it works great, and they are still solid after 100 days or so.
They are also the first boots I have not had to mod (except for the heel lock plate) so far, medial/lateral flex is really nice out of the box. Liners are a joke as expected, get intuitions. Walk mode is good, but not as good as x-alp.
