So has anyone gotten and used the new touring bracket yet? If so, is there a significant difference from the voile brackets (i.e. are they worth the $78)?

The LT-Pin touring brackets are SWEEEEEEET. Super light and tour nicely. I have about the same amount of vert on mine as samh and I absolutely dig them. Definitely worth the money, and they look cool too (not that that matters). Cannot say enough about the Blaze bindings either. Wish I would have gone soft a while back. :disco:

I got a pair of the LT pins last season. They are great. Way lighter and the pins make a more secure connection. I highly recommend them.

Any issues using the LT pins with touring risers?

I’ve got big hooves!! 🙂 I have good clearance on the voile setup with their risers.

    Hi All,

I’ve finally made the jump to Burner LT’s.

I’ve looked around, but I wasn’t able to find the answer-

I am supposed to tuck the bent end of the pin inside my toe strap?

Hey my LT pin broke today while i was inserting the pin, gave it a bit of a tap with my hand to get it in the last inch and it snapped clean at the bend, really annoying and only my 3rd day on these, very disappointing, why can’t these guys make something that can take a bit of a beating.

LT’s (and all Spark gear) are usually bomber , I know as I sell lots of it, if its a genuine failure simple mate ask for a warranty. cheers, Rich

It’s my current setup – no issues so far (30+ days this year). The only downside is that the crampons are less efficient… (they’re 1cm higher).
