I have been running shimano XTR pedals for about 2 years and love them. http://www.competitivecyclist.com/product-components/2013-shimano-xtr-pd-m980-xc-pedals-8366.31.1.html If you’re a sram or other kind of guy I have also liked these crank brothers ones, but I have not put in alot of miles on them. http://www.competitivecyclist.com/product-components/2013-crank-brothers-egg-beater-3-stainless-pedals-7822.31.1.html May 30, 2013 at 1:54 am #668596 jimw 1421 Posts You have pedals on your split?? 🙂 Are you talking flats or clipless? For flats the Point One’s are about as low-pro as you can get, and they work great. Pricey, but very high quality. Super light as well and so far holding up to DH abuse pretty well. I am looking for flats and weights isn’t so much a concern as clearance. September 21, 2013 at 3:00 am #668598 mutantvan 24 Posts Crank bros 50/50 flats are awesome. Even lightweight – but forgot the exact value. Lower “effective bottom bracket”, more clearance, less foot roll.
