The cabin is 6 miles from the hwy, (30 minutes north of Sun Valley) you can sled right to the front door and tour from there. Cabin sleeps 8 with running water and solar generator backup for electricity with wireless internet when generator is running. The website is under construction but contact info is up to date. Rates are $350 per night with a 2 night minimum. Contact me directly if you’d like to book it before it gets promoted out the a larger audience. http://www.wintertux.com October 13, 2014 at 10:08 pm #677831 MHolmes 190 Posts This cabin looks unreal! Bit of a drive, but I’ve long wanted to split in the Sawtooth’s, I’ll see if I can find some sled/split buddies interested. Thanks for posting. Awesome cabin, wish they had stuff like this in Europe. http://flatlandsplitfest.com/ October 14, 2014 at 2:20 pm #677834 idarado 69 Posts $350/8 = $43 per person. I’ve done some yurt trips to the Sawtooths so I’m somewhat familiar with the area although I couldn’t tell exactly where the cabin is at based on the pictures on the website. Better bring ALOT of Cheeb…TEX is something I’ve never seen before. Im pretty much avalible any week this winter. Hell, might even make for a good road trip. Lots of terrain between here and Idaho However, it does cut against my new travel policy of only distributing my monies in Green Friendly states ( Colorado, Washington, California) October 17, 2014 at 9:37 pm #677846 wasatch surf 979 Posts hmm seems cool, Idarado could you give any more specifics on the terrain surrounding the cabin? seems like a better midwinter powder destination than some of the bigger techy terrain in the sawtooths. thanks for posting! October 21, 2014 at 5:17 pm #677847 idarado 69 Posts This was filmed up at WinterTux last season. This is only a small portion of the accessible terrain.
