Thanks for letting me tag along. Too bad it wasn’t about 15 degrees cooler!! April 30, 2007 at 7:30 pm #596332 joesnow 46 Posts @bcd wrote: Waiting for the corn to turn to slush: That’s funny! I’m surprised you didn’t at least take a peak over the North face of False White (the side facing White). I thought there were some BCD options in that face, but probably not this year. Too bad we missed you on Sunday. We had fun getting sloppy seconds from the splitboard crew on Sonora. I’m looking forward to bcr and pj’s mega TR….coming soon hopefully. We did look at the chute right off FW but passed due to snow conditions and exit. ps. How was Leavitt? Did you exit through Blue Canyon? get blown off the peak??? May 2, 2007 at 3:34 am #596336 towelie 35 Posts Great Pics BCD! I really wanna say that was a great weekend. Both I and Ms. Towelie had a great time meeting and skiing with all ya. Good meeting 3Splitboards too. Here’s my pics: Roadside snow still has great coverage in the flats: Someone asked about the lines off of false white towards conness/white. Here’s an old photo looking south from conness (that’s the one and only steelman booting up there on our west ridge rock climb/ski/bike triathlon last may). False white is upper left. The north ridge/face of white is in the middle, and the summit of white is upper right. BCD and folks scoped out the diagonal line on false white and it looked good and was skied recently. Here’s another one we scoped on false white. It didn’t go. (look in the previous picture, it is the small snow patch left of the diagonal couloir). PJ I think: Puff Nattie: Matt: BCRider scoping the ice jump: BCrider: BCD: “hey, look at my shadow” PJ taking flight: May 2, 2007 at 2:57 pm #596337 SanFrantastico 1514 Posts Great pics.. looks like a really fun day. May 7, 2007 at 1:03 am #596340 powderjunkie 1669 Posts Good to know the wind wasn’t bad for ya and that you didn’t go out blue canyon. We were there around 1pm to give you two a lift but knew we were way to early. Viewing 11 posts - 1 through 11 (of 11 total) You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
