Before you go and throw your favorite jacket away, check out this video from Norrona on how to replace your dysfunctional zipper. The process looks straight forward as long as you’re able to acquire a replacement zipper. January 23, 2015 at 12:46 pm #779051 maniacdave 564 Posts That works great if it’s the zipper slider that’s the issue, broken teeth will still require full zipper replacement. $15 for a seamstress to put a new one on my jacket. Cheap. Even cheaper if you’ve got DIY skills in the sewing machine department. Blew out the crotch on my bibs, 20 minutes with a needle and thread plus a bit of aquaseal, good to go. Gloves were held together with hockey tape the last couple winters, also got the needle/thread & aquaseal treatment. We need more of this sorta content here & not just new gear IMO!
