Forums Splitboards Coming from a Gnu Billygoat. What to get? I absolutely love the board. Turns well, not too stiff, not to soft, and seems to have great dampening in the rough stuff. It even feels pretty good on hardpack and groomers with the magnetraction. That being said, I’m in the market for a new board since there isn’t much base left to work with on my Billygoat. Time to upgrade. I haven’t been on any newer split setups, but I’m looking for a deck that will have similar characteristics to the Billygoat. For solid boards I really like my Capita Charlie Slasher. Don’t care for the Neversummer RipSaw that I got last spring it’s a 156 so it may just be shorter than I like, but seems to stiff to have good dampening. Doesn’t feel comfortable at high speeds unless I’m on fresh groomers. I prefer mellow pow in the winter and steep lines in the spring. Any recommendations? Thanks!
